Who we are
Mucho gusto!
Dennis Davis
Dennis holds a masters degree from West Virginia University in Music Education, and spent the majority of his life teaching young people the arts as they relate to band and orchestra applications. Dennis retired in 2018 after 33 years in the public school system, and found himself with a long list of projects from clients eager for his services year-round.
Dennis is extraordinarily musically inclined, and the sound of his cheerful whistling is an easy way to locate him on even the largest job sites. Dennis is also an avid outdoorsman who enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, and shivering in tree stands. The name Summit View is taken from his love of the mountains.
Dan Davis
Dan started tagging along to job sites at the age of 14, and worked summers with the crew that would compose Summit View from that time through college. Dan graduated in 2010 from Lancaster Bible College with a degree in pastoral studies. He’s led an eclectic work life ranging from positions in customer service, sales, music teaching, music ministry, and professional pretzel rolling. More recently he oversaw the design of custom single use fluid management devices to be used primarily in bioprocessing applications.
When he’s not improving someone’s home, Dan enjoys playing the guitar, cooking, and hanging out with his lovely bride Emily.
