About Summit View
It all started when…
Summit View Home Improvements was officially founded in 2008, but the story starts long before that. Founder Dennis Davis began working in the construction field as a hired hand back in 1982 for his uncle’s business in Lewisberry, PA. While Dennis’s primary means of making a living through the years was teaching instrumental music, summertime brought on a myriad of projects for fellow teachers and other acquaintances. Smaller home repairs and painting gigs turned into major renovations and home additions. Dennis turned his attention to Summit View full time upon retiring from teaching in 2018, and his son Dan joined him in the summer of 2019. Today we’re a small, but growing business serving an ever-expanding list of clients. We value craftsmanship, quality, and value so we are constantly striving to learn the latest in construction and home repair best practices. Our goal is to complete each project so that it is functional, beautiful, and built to last. Though we may not always be your cheapest option, we strive to be the best blend of quality and price point so that you truly get what you pay for – an improvement to your home that will stand the test of time for a price that was fair and worth paying.

Our Brand
We get it, it’s a little scary to invite strangers into your home. And yet sometimes there are jobs that require expertise or equipment that go beyond what the typical homeowner can manage. Should you give us your business, we like to think of ourselves as not just your contractor, but also as your invited guests. That means no loud radios interrupting your day and no expletives unleashed in the presence of your children. It means taking care to consider your needs and wishes as we work – minimizing disruptions to your life and caring for your home as if it were our own. We take pride in conducting ourselves with quiet, friendly professionalism, and we’re honored that a large percentage of our work comes from folks who were so happy with the job we did on a previous project they invite us back to tackle the next one and recommend us to their friends and family as well.
